The UKASCC board is pleased to announce we have formally affiliated with the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer. This affiliation puts UKASCC in a strong position to work with world leaders in supportive care including education and research initiatives. Richard Berman, President of UKASCC says: “this is a landmark moment for UKASCC and presents a fantastic opportunity for our members to widen their network within MASCC. We look forward to harnessing further opportunities that help to raise the profile of supportive oncology between our 2 organisations.” Florian Scotté, president of MASCC agrees and says “We are excited to have UKASCC as an affiliate of MASCC and join forces to improving outcomes in United Kingdom and globally. By leveraging the strengths of both organizations, we can expand our reach and impact, particularly in advancing supportive care practices. Together we will elevate the field of supportive care in cancer that will benefit the global community and ultimately improve the quality of life of those impacted by cancer.”
If you are a member of MASCC you will automatically become a member of UKASCC. The board is currently considering other forms of membership.
