UKASCC Conference 2025 – That’s A Wrap!

Posted: 27 Oct 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the UKASCC Conference this September at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. Over three days, we enjoyed an exhaustive and inspiring deep dive into the world of Supportive Oncology, covering topics as wide ranging as ePROMS, Teenagers and Young Adult Oncology, Palliative Care, Immunotherapy, Living with and Beyond Cancer, Cardiology, Insomnia, Geriatric Oncology, cancer and the gut, and much more.

One of the attendees, Lauren Dollive, has written a blog on the conference for the Royal College of Nursing website (see link below). Would you be able to distribute it to all of the speakers, as it’s a fantastic testament to the high quality of presentation and educational content of the conference, which you can read here: https://www.rcn.org.uk/news-and-events/Blogs/reflections-on-supportive-oncology-in-2025-141025

Our attendance both in person and online saw a 50% increase across the three days, a figure which we feel illustrates the growing scope and importance of the discipline across cancer services in the UK. Similarly, many thanks to those of you who submitted a poster, many of which were displayed in the venue during the conference. We were also delighted to spend time chatting and networking with delegates across the three days, and don’t forget you can sign up to become a member of UKASCC for free via the membership link on this website.

That’s a wrap for 2025, but we look forward to seeing you all again for our 2026 event, which I’m sure will be bigger, better and just as fun. Watch this space for forthcoming announcements, dates, times and location.
