Charlotte has worked as a Consultant at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust since 2019, and combines her clinical practice with a senior leadership role as Chief of Service for Oncology within the Trust. Her clinical interests include symptom management of immunotherapy toxicities, opioid-induced constipation and dermatological conditions in supportive and palliative care. 

She has a strong research background, having been Principal Investigator for several studies on topics such as patient preferred terminology for supportive and palliative care, artificial hydration at the end of life, and opioid-induced constipation. 

Charlotte has a particular interest in the care of patients with learning disabilities, and sensory needs. She has successfully completed the Level Three British Sign Language Certificate, and continues to learn about the d/Deaf community and BSL.
